This song is about the commune I lived in in Olympia, Washington with my friend the Cherokee shaman Jezebel Crow. She procured a boat for me to sleep in and I accidentally set fire to it at night by putting a cardboard box into the wood burning stove. It burned so hot the spiders burst in their webs. I put the fire out without the boat being damaged too badly but I burned my hands in the process. Jezebel wrapped them up in fat aloe leaves and I looked like a green lobster for about a week.

I like how the vocals are somewhere unique between talking and singing. 'Heartloose' is a beautiful piece of poetry. I have listened to it so many times but it retains its magic. lady of shalott

Just a beautiful jazzy rap album with buttery smooth flows versed with huge talent. It's not only lovely to the ears, but the lyrics are profound and empowering about the struggles that she faces. zhangtastic
